Extracts from SPS Committee meeting summary reports

In March 1997, the United States expressed concern that Honduras had not lifted its restrictions on imports of rough rice. Honduras assured the Committee that its authorities would attempt to find a rapid solution to the problem.
In July 2001, the United States reported that Honduras had lifted its restrictions in 1997 (G/SPS/GEN/265). The United States considers this trade concern resolved.
