Cuba indicated that it had sought bilateral consultations with the European Communities on pesticide residues in honey. The European Communities confirmed that it was examining a plan submitted by Cuba for residue analysis, and would continue to pursue this bilaterally.
In November 2002, Cuba reported that progress had been made in bilateral consultations with the European Communities on regulation EC 96/23 setting out residue limits for imported honey.
