To facilitate the importation of bovine embryos from New Caledonia into Australia without jeopardising the health status of Australian bovines.

The health status requirements are based on EU Directive 88/407/EEC. The embryos collection requirements are based on the Recommendations for the Sanitary Handling of Embryos in the Manual of International Embryo Transfer Society and the requirements for the processing of embryos is based on OIE Code.
